Hi, blog readers! I hope that all of you are experiencing the warm weather that has finally come to the Chicagoland area. As the warm weather rolls in, perhaps you’re looking for some new poetry. This week, as with every week, we’re featuring a poem from Poetry Daily, which is a great website you can use to find new poetry to read. The featured poem this week is The World Turned by Jay Rogoff.
According to his bio page, Jay Rogoff has a forthcoming poetry collection, Enamel Eyes: A Fantasia on 1870 Paris, which will be published by LSU Press in fall of this year. He has published five previous collections, including Venera (2014) and The Long Fault (2008). His work has also appeared in publications such as Literary Imagination, Salmagundi, and The Sewanee Review.
