Jet Fuel Jukebox for 9/26/17

It’s Jukebox time!

This week’s playlist features new music from The Killers, Rostam (formerly of Vampire Weekend), Fergie, and WALK THE MOON.

Next week we will be back with a new themed playlist, but what the theme is we’ll keep a secret for now. You’ll just have to come back next week to find out!

Jet Fuel Jukebox: Throwback Thursday Dance Edition

We’ve got something totally tubular and extremely rad on the Jukebox this week!

We’re throwing a dance at the university we’re run out of, Lewis University, this Thursday, April 21. Our theme this time is “Throwback Thursday.” So yeah, we’re going old school. Songs ranging from the 1970s to the early 2000s are what we’re all about.

I’ve been working with my DJ partner, former JFR editor Michael Cotter, to create the playlist for the dance, and it’s something I think we’re both proud of.

We thought it would be fun to give you a special sneak peak at what we’re going to be playing at the dance this Thursday. We’ve got 20 songs on this playlist, including songs by The Killers, Madonna, and Britney Spears, but that’s just a small fraction of what we’re going to be playing at the dance.

If you’re a student at Lewis University, then please come! Doors open at 8 p.m. in the Student Union.

Jet Fuel Jukebox for 2/9/16

Jukebox_picIs everyone liking the new look of the blog? I sure hope so. Either way, the train never stops on our weekly playlist!

This week, the highlight on the Jukebox is “Kiss It Better” by Rihanna, as Jake will have a review of her new album ANTI tomorrow.

Joining the ranks of Rihanna to fill out the 20-song playlist are tracks from The Killers, Hall and Oates, and Foxes.

Jet Fuel Jukebox for 11/3/15

It’s Tuesday again already and Jake and I have, of course, built another playlist for you to enjoy music new and old.

Our highlight of the week is “Cry Baby” by The Neighbourhood, as Jake has a review coming tomorrow for their new album, Wiped Out!

Be sure to check out the rest of the playlist as well, as it is filled with straight jams by artists like St. Vincent, The Killers, and Saint Motel just to name a few.
