Jet Fuel Jukebox for 2/28/17

Jukebox_picAnother Tuesday, another Jukebox. Jake and I have yet another 20 songs for you to enjoy.

This week, I went back and plucked out some of my favorite rock songs from the 90s and early 2000s. No particular reason except I just felt like rocking this week. Highlights from Death From Above 1979, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers round out my half of the playlist. Jake’s half includes the infectious new hit from Katy Perry, “Chained To The Rhythm,” as well as tracks from Ellie Goulding and Solange.

Jet Fuel Jukebox for 6/21/16

Jukebox_picThe good thing about being late with the Jukebox last week means you get a whole new playlist just five days after the previous edition! Now, isn’t that just awesome?

This past Friday saw the release of some really great albums. So, in my half of the playlist, I’ve included brand new music from YG, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mitski, and Radiohead.

And rounding out the 20-song playlist this week is a handful of tracks from artists like Phoenix, Flume, and The Temper Trap.

Jet Fuel Jukebox for 6/7/16

Jukebox_picMay is behind us, and June is upon us. Jake and I return after skipping last week to present to you a strong playlist filled with awesome music.

Most importantly, there’s new music from The Strokes (in the form of a four-song EP), and that means that all is right in the world. Being that they’re my favorite band of all time, of course I’m starting my half of this week’s playlist off right with my favorite cut from Future Present Past, entitled “OBLIVIUS.”

As for the rest of the playlist, we see another 19 amazing tracks that include the second single from the upcoming Red Hot Chili Peppers album and a track from Chance The Rapper’s latest mixtape.

Jet Fuel Jukebox for 5/10/16

Jukebox_picIt’s Tuesday, everyone! That obviously means that Jake and I have added 20 new songs to the Jet Fuel Jukebox!

I’ve noticed that I’ve been featuring a lot of the same artists week after week, so I’m making it my mission to find at least a few new artists to put on each edition of this playlist. This will not only help you find new artists, but it’ll also be a good excuse for me to seek out new music.

Our other Jukebox editor, Jake, is celebrating the end of the school year and the beginning of summer break by including a bunch of summer-oriented songs. Get in the summer spirit with his 10 songs!

This week’s playlist highlights the new songs from Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers, while featuring standbys from Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, and Tame Impala, and featuring brand new artists like Max Pope and Lewis Del Mar.

Infinite Canvas Podcast: A New Era

This is a very special episode of the Infinite Canvas podcast, as Dan and Mike venture into a brand new era for the show. Instead of simply talking about comics and the industry surrounding them, your hosts have decided to change the show into an all-encompassing format that includes all forms of media. This could be comics, movies, music, video games, you name it.

For the inaugural episode of this newly reformed podcast, Dan and Mike talk about news regarding new Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers songs, and move onto reviewing two new horror films, The Invitation and Green Room. Spoilers for both films begin 38 minutes in.
