Welcome to another Sunday, it’s time for another week to close and a new one to open. Thanks for reading the blog this week! Before we continue, I’d like to remind you all that the Jet Fuel Review is having its latest reading period right now. Everyone is encouraged to send in their poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and art to be considered for submission to the Review. You can send your submissions to this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to receiving your work!
This week began with a Writing Advice post with some words of wisdom from Jack Kerouac. Kerouac’s message was simple – write for yourself! It’s important to squeeze in some to write just for fun in amongst your various projects. The Discussion post this week asked about your writing setup. Do you write at a desk or do you have some beanbag chairs? What is your writing setup like? Check out the post and leave your thoughts in the comments! The poem from Slate this week was The Bee, by Henri Cole. And the week ended with an Awesome Word from Mark, which was exiguous.
Thanks for reading this week and we hope that you stick around for more interesting and awesome blog posts in the coming week.
