One hundred weekly Editor’s Notebook posts have now been written for the Jet Fuel Review’s blog! That means the blog has now been in operation for approximately one hundred weeks. If you’ve been with us that whole time, thank you for sticking around! If you’re a newcomer to the blog, we hope that you stick around for the next one hundred weeks. For now, let’s take a look at this past week’s blog posts.
The week started off with a writing advice post that covered Charles Bukowksi’s poem, So You Want to Be a Writer and the interesting points made therein. In Mike’s horror blog this week, he covered a manga story called ‘The Enigma of Amigara Fault.’ This week’s poem from Slate was entitled The Beautiful Hidden, by Jack Marshall.
Lucas’ Bibliophilia this week covered the interesting book titled, The Book That Can’t Wait — a tome whose words disappear after you read them. On Thursday, Lucas’ Film Corner discussed a new feature of XBox Kinect that will monitor the movies you’re watching using their service. Mark’s Awesome Word for this week was ebullient. And Linda continued her Ekphrastic Blog with some poems regarding the recent US presidential election.
Again, thanks for sticking around and reading this week’s series of blog posts. We hope you enjoyed them and we hope you come around for next week’s offerings. And, since this week will be an abbreviated one for most of us, have a very Happy Thanksgiving holiday.
