Welcome to another edition of the Editor’s Notebook, where we look back at the week’s posts here on the Jet Fuel Review blog. I hope you’ve all had a splendid week and that your Novembers have gotten off to a smooth start. If you’re participating in NaNoWriMo this year, how are you doing so far? Right now I’m ahead of the game, but that just means I need to keep writing in order to stay ahead. In any case, let’s take a look at what our bloggers wrote about this past week.
We started things off, as always, with a writing advice post about the simple act of taking notes. It’s a great way to combat writer’s block: remember all of those great ideas you’re having by writing them down! In his horror blog, Mike talked about the newly released movie, Paranormal Activity 4. Is it one movie too many? See what Mike had to say! In his Bibliophilia column this week, Lucas discussed that great subgenre of stories, the locked room mysteries. And in the Film Corner, Lucas talked about the great pastime of fighting about movies, both online and in person. And to close out the week, Mark’s Awesome Word was prevaricate.
Thanks for tuning in this week, I hope you’ll return tomorrow when we start a new week of posts here at the blog.
